#All wii u games full#
And yeah, that full price point feels unreasonable.Ĭonsider it this way, though: these Wii U ports have all the DLC included plus new features and they’re portable. When something like Hyrule Warriors is ported yet again with even more content, it makes someone like me-who poured over 100 hours into the Wii U version-feel like I’m missing out. And now that barbarians are at the gates and Switch owners are buttmad about new 3DS releases, you have the audacity to call me salty? While you were partying and mocking the Wii U and having premarital sex, I studied the (Xeno)blade. Where were you fans when these games were being released originally? It's more about seeing everyone shit on the Wii U for years, then the Switch releases and all these Wii U ports are suddenly amazing and desirable. It's less about being a hipster and liking Wii U games before they were cool. It’s like the little club is mainstream now. I wonder if they feel like they were part of some special, unappreciated club, and hate how Switch owners are just now discovering the games that were instant classics on its predecessor. There's always some jackass that comes along and says, "Oh, did your Wii U games spontaneously combust on March 3rd?" And you know what? That would be a pretty good point if not for the fact that a bunch of Wii U games did break less than a year after the Switch's release, even if they broke only a little bit.Īnd I'm expected to buy a Switch, pay for online, and either pay for the same shit all over again or do without the added features whilst twiddling my thumbs and waiting for an actual novel game to come out. They just added features to Switch ports while breaking features for the original Wii U games, and I'm supposed to be okay with that. No QOL patches or Miiverse fixes for Wii U owners.

No direct transfer or purchasable upgrades for Wii U owners. They kill off the Wii U with one of the shortest Nintendo console lifespans ever (inb4 2017-2012=5), they don't even release the promised Wii U big hitter Legend of Zelda until the Wii U is already last-gen, then they kill off Miiverse (which breaks features of some Wii U and 3DS games), and then they port all these Wii U games to the Switch with extra features, at full (or increased) cost. It's the way they handled additional features that pisses me off. Six subreddits from this multireddit are randomly shuffled every hour. You can also read the rules in more depth on our wiki.
